Lady Nike Shelton
B.A.D. GIRLS 4 CHRIST – BG4C
Lady Nike Ministries

Lady Shelton, a.k.a., Lady Nike, is a woman on fire for the word of God. She was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts, where she was brought up in church by her two adoring parents, who first taught her to serve God. In the ecclesiastical realm she grew up in Holy Tabernacle Church, Dorchester, Massachusetts, under the former Bishop Joe L. Smith, and later grew into her calling under Rev. Joe L. Smith, II at Greater Generations Tabernacle Church, Brockton, Massachusetts, where she fostered her passion for praise and worship as the praise and worship leader.

Lady Nike is small in stature but powerful in the things of God. She loves to love God’s people and takes time to greet everyone with a hug and a smile. When she’s not at her home church you can find her serving the community by reaching out to under-privileged youth and troubled teens, as well as in the courtroom advocating for her clients, as she is an attorney at law. In her spare time she enjoys traveling and spending quality time with friends and family.

She currently serves in many capacities, including worship leader, at Living Elevated Church, where her husband, Eric Shelton, is the Senior Pastor. She is the author of the L.O.V.E. (Living Out Victory Everyday) Blog and the visionary of the B.A.D. (Bold, Anointed, Delivered) Girl Ministry for women of all ages.   More importantly she stands beside her loving husband and has vowed to walk with him wherever the Lord takes them. Out of all the ministries and strengths the Lord has given to her, she values none more than being a loving wife and now a mother of her precious daughter, Willow-Symone. Her prayer is that she will be an example of a virtuous woman for many women to come.

Reverend Patricia McCarty
New Northside Missionary Baptist Church

Patricia McCarty was born and raised in the small town of Moorhead, Mississippi. She was nurtured in a devout Christian family where faith was not only taught, but lived. At the tender age of twelve, she gave her life to Christ, and from that moment forward, church became her foundation—marking the beginning of a lifelong commitment to serving God and His people. From her youth through young adulthood, she faithfully worked in the church, cultivating a heart for ministry early in life.

She is a graduate of Gentry High School in Indianola, Mississippi, and continued her education at Lane College in Jackson, Tennessee. Although her formal college education was interrupted when she became a mother, she remained committed to lifelong learning, especially in the study of God’s Word.

Patricia is the proud mother of one son, Bronshay Kardell McCarty, who is also a minister of the gospel. Watching God work through his life has been one of her greatest joys and a powerful confirmation of God’s faithfulness in her own.

She has been a dedicated member of New Northside Baptist Church for the past forty-five years, which she considers her church home. At the age of forty, God called her to preach the gospel. Like many biblical servants before her, she initially ran from the call, carrying its weight for eleven years. Eventually, unable to bear the burden any longer, she surrendered—reluctantly at first, but obediently and with a willing spirit. Looking back, she is deeply grateful to God for choosing her and gives Him all the glory for what He continues to do in and through her life.

Patricia currently serves as an associate minister at New Northside Baptist Church. She is actively involved in teaching Bible study, serving as a substitute teacher wherever needed, and leading the Ministers’ Bible Study on the last Friday of each month. She is also a member of the Women’s Missionary Department and has a heart for outreach, faithfully visiting the sick and the shut-in. Wherever God calls her, she strives to be available.

She is an avid reader who loves studying God’s Word and continues to educate herself through biblical courses. The Lord has blessed her abundantly with understanding and wisdom—not for her glory, but to God be the glory. She considers herself a lifelong learner of Scripture and treasures every moment spent in the presence of the Lord, hearing, obeying, and walking in His Word. Professionally,

Patricia worked for AT&T; Communications for thirty years before retiring. For her, retirement simply meant a new assignment—working full-time on the battlefield for the Lord.

In her personal time, she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with family. Above all, her heart’s desire is to remain obedient and available to God. Like the prophet Isaiah, she declares, “Here am I; send me” (Isaiah 6:8).
